The atmosphere turned tense. Though Kallum’s expressionless statement was brief, just thinking about the downfall of the Wolford family from Summerbank made them shiver.
The once–great Wolford family had fallen apart and become second–rate. They didn’t want to become the next Harvey. Some began to regret coming here, but Harvey loudly retorted.
“Stop with the threats and psychological games! I’ve got nothing left to lose. Even if I die today, I’ll expose
your true colors!”
As he spoke, Harvey pushed his IV drip stand and stepped forward. Kallum squinted his eyes, and Gunner stepped up to block him.
“Mr. Wolford, please sit down. This is not your platform to speak. If you cause trouble, we’ll have no choice but to remove you.”

In fact, Kallum had evidence to convict Harvey. However, the infected people believed the Fairchild family was to blame. Even exposing Harvey wouldn’t quell the suspicions. To resolve this completely, Kallum had to take a risk.
Howard was pleasantly surprised. “Really? That is great! Those who act out of selfishness must be punished. The higher–ups have ordered that the mastermind be severely dealt with.”
Kallum nodded. “Okay, it is getting late. Let’s begin.”
Seeing Kallum’s calm demeanor, Howard waved his hand. A person stepped forward with a disease detector.
Before the blood test, Howard addressed the filming equipment, speaking sternly.
“Due to the recent spread of rumors in Horington, 1, Howard Zeifert, have been sent by the Inspection and Supervision Bureau to oversee this matter. I have no personal interest in this matter, and all actions. will be conducted under public scrutiny. I will not wrongfully accuse anyone, nor will I let any wrongdoer go unpunished.”
Howard’s words made Harvey nervous, but he believed he was safe. As long as Kallum tested positive for the K Virus, all attention would shift to him, making Harvey the hero and the most innocent victim in this ordeal.
Victory or defeat would be decided tonight. Harvey would keep his eyes wide open to expose Kallum’s lies.

Kallum unbuttoned his exquisite cuffs with an icy expression. His violet eyes, filled with a hint of menace, made everyone feel how reluctant he was to go through this.
